The Centre for Foreign Languages and Professional Training is an autonomous unit at the Faculty of Humanities, which performs and coordinates the following activities:
-    Preparation of the Faculty students (without any language certification) for the compulsory examination required to obtain the Diploma.
-    General language teaching at beginners’/intermediate/advanced levels for Faculty students and graduates.
-    Training in translation and foreign languages for specific purposes for students of the Faculty and for external candidates.
We offer:
General language courses: Chinese, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, (ancient) Greek, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.
E-learning curriculum: Dutch, Finnish, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese (free of charge for students of the University of Debrecen).
Sign language (beginner and intermediate levels).
Professional training: English-Hungarian translator for the humanities (4 semesters, full time course/education)
